Bonnie Raitt: The iconic blues singer and guitarist will make us love her when she performs March 11 in the Amarillo Civic Center Complex Auditorium, 401 S. The Price Is Right Live: Come on down and give your best shot at Plinko when the beloved TV game show returns March 14 to the Amarillo Civic Center Complex Auditorium. Other events on the calendar include the new Bomb City Con, featuring actor Sam Jones and others, from March 1 to 2 in the Amarillo Civic Center Complex; Amarillo Angels’ Mom Prom 2025 on March 1 in the Civic Center Complex North Exhibit Hall; the Harlem Globetrotters March 1 in the Amarillo Civic Center Complex Coliseum; 40th annual Make A Wish Car Show on March 8 in the Civic Center Complex; controversial comedian Chris D’Elia’s “Straight Outta the Multiverse” tour on March 14 in the Globe-News Center; annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities around the Panhandle, but particularly in Shamrock, on March 15; kiddie tour “Blippi: Join the Band” on March 26 in the Civic Center Complex Auditorium; and comedian and podcaster Theo Von’s “Return of the Rat” tour on March 30 in the Civic Center Complex Coliseum. Amarillo Symphony: The orchestra goes on an American Journey in its March concerts, featuring trombonist John Shanks and music from Charles Ives and Samuel Jones, on March 21 and 22 in the Globe-News Center. Other arts events to watch for include the West Texas A&M University Symphonic Band on March 6 at Mary Moody Northen Recital Hall; the First Friday Art Walk on March 7 at Arts in the Sunset, 3701 Plains Blvd.; Chamber Music Amarillo’s emotion-laden Metamorphosen on March 8 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 1601 S. Mickey 17: Director Bong Joon-ho (Parasite) returns to the big screen with this sci-fi comedy starring Robert Pattinson as a broke worker who volunteers himself as a disposable clone recruit, opening March 7. Other films set to hit the screen include sports biopic Queen of the Ring on March 7; drama Opus, sci-fi adventure The Empire and action comedy Novocaine on March 14; thrillers Ash and Locked on March 21; and fantasy thriller Death of a Unicorn, thriller A Working Man, biopic Being Maria on March 28.

Yellow City Comic Con: Voice and live actors will headline the annual pop cultural celebration, set for April 11 to 13 in the Civic Center Complex. Handel’s Messiah: Amarillo Master Chorale celebrates its 45th anniversary with a blowout production of this beloved masterpiece, featuring an orchestra, soloists and dancers, all on April 12 in the Globe-News Center. Randy Rogers Band: One of the all-time greats of the Texas country scene, the band makes a welcome return April 25 with a show at Azteca Music Hall, 500 Farm-to-Market Road 1912. Other concerts to look out for include indie touring band The Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs on April 2 at The 806 Coffee + Lounge, 2812 SW Sixth Ave.; touring folk singer Caroline Cotter on April 4 at Buffalo Grass Music Hall, 123 Main St. in Panhandle; country band Lowland Revelry on April 12 at Hoot’s Pub, 2424 Hobbs Road; metal band Upon A Burning Body on April 17 at Rockwell Event Center, 16301 Interstate 27 in Canyon; Tummyache on April 17 at The 806; and Latin band Hermanos Espinoza on April 19 at Azteca Music Hall.
A Minecraft Movie: The appeal escapes me, but this silly-looking video game adaptation could be a hit when it opens April 4. Also on tap for theaters are action horror film Wake Up and thriller The Luckiest Man in America on April 4; mystery Drop and action film Warfare on April 11; horror sequel The Exorcist: Deceiver on April 18; and family adventure The Legend of Ochi and horror film Until Dawn on April 25.
