Kick off the new year with a fundraising event for one of Amarillo’s dedicated nonprofits.
DeBault Title and Reed Beverage will host “New Year, New Future,” a free event benefitting Amarillo Angels, which supports children and families experiencing foster care. The party will begin at 6 p.m. Jan. 16 at Reed Beverage, 3701 S.E. 27th Ave.
Amarillo band Bomb City Groove will provide tunes, Reed Beverage will provide drinks, and Bubba’s 33 will provide food—all for free. Donations, though, will help Amarillo Angels fulfill its mission, and L Hamilton Financial Group is offering an amplified gift challenge; if the event raises $5,000, L Hamilton will donate an additional $1,000.
“The start of a new year naturally invites reflection and fresh beginnings, and this event is a way for our community to come together and help create brighter futures for kids who need consistency, encouragement and support,” said new Executive Director Sarena Carpenter. “Beyond the networking and celebration, guests can expect a meaningful, hands-on experience. From writing encouraging notes to children through our Hope Board to purchasing Angel Wishes that directly support kids experiencing foster care, every element of the evening is designed to connect people to the mission in a tangible way.”

Celebrate her accomplishments and those of other winners at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 3 in the Amarillo Club, 600 S. Tyler St. Tickets are on sale now.
